Between restraint and scale. Two winter visits, three years apart. The first stay in December 2022 was short, defined by Bergen’s familiar rain, low clouds and a limited radius — fewer images, quieter movement. In December 2025, colder conditions and a wider range transformed the journey. The camera followed the landscape far beyond the city, reaching deep into the fjords, all the way to the Nærøyfjord. Together, both trips show how Bergen shifts from an intimate, weather-bound city to a gateway for vast and imposing scenery.
